OMORI’s world began in 1948 when President Shozo OMORI founded a small company in Tokyo, OMORI Manufacturing Co. Ltd., made up of himself and two staff members having only a drill and vice as tools. At first, OMORI devoted itself to manufacturing dies for presses, but its field of action has been expanding constantly ever since. In 1956, the first aluminium clipping machine using PVDC film for sausage packaging was realised; this represented a sensational innovation in the meat industry, with which OMORI set foot into the packaging world.
In 1957, OMORI Machinery Co. Ltd. was founded. Since its foundation, OMORI has been steadily investing in Research and Development.
Starting with the sausage packaging machine, the dynamism of OMORI’s R&D, supported by the highest technology, brought to the realization of the most modern packaging machines for meat, noodles, confectionery, vegetables, cosmetic and pharmaceutical products and many other products.
