Tablet press machine
Everything gained in years of experience and expertise in the industry has been carefully channelled into PREXIMA, IMA ACTIVE’s new tablet press machine. Powered by IMA’s knowledge of the sector, designed with unique Italian style, built to deliver top-level performance, the PREXIMA will drive your productivity to a higher level of efficiency. PREXIMA ensures complete separation between processing and mechanical areas thanks to the use of purposely designed seals and protections. Along with this feature, the design also provides great accessibility: the processing area is fully accessible once the external doors are opened, while access to the machine basement is required only for maintenance. The PREXIMA’s compression support is based on three columns linked together by two strong cast iron structures. This exceptionally sturdy structure guarantees both pre-compression and main compression forces up to 100 kN with maximum reliability. The removal of the turret is quick and easy: the HMI guides the operator step by step during each phase of turret extraction. PREXIMA is also provided with the new XIMA HMI, which was awarded with the A’ Design Award 2015 for its usability and its strategic role in improving operators’ efficiency.
Perforated pan for tablet coating
PERFIMA perforated pan for tablet coating is born from the IMA ACTIVE’s experience and technology, taking advantage of the know-how of specialised experts, allowing a high flexibility and reliability. The shape of the pan combined with the mixing baffles position ensure a perfect mixing of the cores and a uniform distribution of the coating material. The machine can work a wide range of batches: from 25% to 100% of the pan capacity, and the mixing capability is maintained in case of working with a minimum or a maximum quantity of product. Additionally position and dimensions of the outlet air duct allow a uniform drying of the product, thus saving energy. The spray guns are fitted on a sliding support arm which can be positioned and adjusted from the external part of the machine. The machine can be fitted with automatic product loading and discharge. Complete isolation of all the parts in contact with the product is another feature of the PERFIMA machine. Thanks to special seals the machine is completely isolated and is suitable for full containment installations and to perform a completely automatic Clean In Place system: nozzles and spray balls covers all areas of the machine and are always in position.
IMA UNILINE is one of the new solutions presented by IMA SAFE on videowall. UNILINE is an extremely compact monoblock system that flexibly integrates the functions required to form a complete counting line: container loading, desiccant insertion, counting and filling, cotton insertion, capping, coding and rejection. Thanks to the innovative positive transport system, each container is positively held and tracked, ensuring traceability at every stage of the packaging cycle. No size parts are required for the changeover of container irrespective of diameter and height. The system is also designed to guarantee total visibility and accessibility during this phase.
