With over 70 different installations worldwide for dispensing, handling, granulating, tableting, capsule filling and coating of category IV and V products, IMA Active is able to supply a wide range of solutions to work with HAPI (Highly Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients). A global approach to solid dose contained production.

The IMA Active division has three production sites:
- one in Bologna, Italy, where IMA tablet presses, high shear mixers, fluid beds, capsule fillers and coating equipment are produced;
- one in Cologne, Germany, where Kilian tablet presses are produced;
- one in Lucca, Italy, where Zanchetta single pot granulators, handling and washing equipment are produced.

Additionally, IMA Active laboratories in Italy, Germany and USA offer test support for the development and set-up of products and process solutions.
